Jim Melody

For over 30 years Melody has directly represented major venues, professional sports teams, and elite broadcasting brands in the NYC and Boston markets. Jim began his event creation and promoting career at the Weymana in 1979 and can include Radio City Music Hall as well as Boston’s City Hall Plaza and World Trade Center as additional successful professional/event mgmt endeavors. Musically, Melody has been played on radio stations throughout New England since 2004 and has been recognized by both Mayor Menino and Mayor Walsh for his contributions to the City of Boston. Jason Thayer

For over 20 years Thayer has been involved with major event security planning, management and execution at concert and sporting venues ranging from Gillette Stadium to the South Shore Music Circus. A career law enforcement professional, Jason is currently a Sergeant at the Norfolk County Sheriff’s Office. Thayer also served in the US Marines. Jason owns a home in 02189.

Kevin Reilly

Is the developer and former owner of The University Sports Complex in Hanover, one of the largest sports and recreation complexes on the East Coast. A CPA with over 30 years in accounting, operational logistics, and financial management experience, retired Army Lt. Col. Reilly managed these same processes during his 23 years of service time. Musically, Kevin fronted the band Bald Walter for over 20 years and had 2 CD’s chart nationally. Reilly was Class Treasurer for WNHS 1982 and owns a home in 02190.

Tony Castagnozzi

Is the co-owner and operator of legendary Rattlesnake Bar + Grill on Boylston Street in Boston. Caz is the operating partner and the straw that stirs the drink for over 25 years in the Boston restaurant community. ServSafe, Choke Safe, & Allergy Safe certified, Caz brings over 40 years of professional food and beverage management skills to the WEYFEST initiative. Caz has been shooting 3 pointers as Manager of Weymouth’s Adult Hoop for the past 20+ years at WHS, is a 1974 grad of WNHS, and owns a home in 02190.

Ric McConkey

A native of Weymouth, Ric McConkey is the Managing Partner at RSW Advertising, the premier media, information and marketing services company servicing Cape Cod and the Islands. Ric oversees the company's strategic direction and spearheads new and innovative opportunities for the company's growth.

Ric joined RSW after serving as president of Lateral Group’s North America practice, a fully owned subsidiary of DST Systems (NYSE:DST).

As founder and principal architect of Capital Fulfillment Group (CFG); Ric successfully grew this start up, with anchor facilities in Weymouth, to $20+ million in annual sales. CFG was successfully sold and rolled up into DST Customer Communications (NYSE:DST) in 2010.

During a ten-year period on Wall Street, Ric held senior sales and marketing positions with Goldman Sachs, Quest for Value Distributors and Oppenheimer Capital. Ric brings a unique blend of over 30 years of sales distribution, marketing, and technology experience to his newest venture, Financial Media Exchange (FMeX).

Julie Heapes

Julie Heapes is the Senior Retail Officer and Security Officer at South Shore Bank. Ms. Heapes joined South Shore Bank in 2012 as manager of its Shaw's Plaza office branch in Weymouth, was promoted to Retail Officer in 2014 and promoted again to AVP Regional Retail Officer in May 2015. Julie is on board as the WEYFEST Community Group Booth coordinator!
